A Persistent, Player-Driven MMORPG

Aruvia combines semi-idle progression with meaningful choices, multiplayer systems, and a player-only economy. Play in a browser on desktop or mobile without keeping the game in the foreground all day.

Available now

These systems are playable during the current alpha. Their balance and details may still change as testing continues.

Skills and semi-idle activities

Train gathering, refining, crafting, cooking, combat, adventuring, and dungeoning skills. Choose an activity and let it progress while you step away, then return to make the next decision.

Gathering, crafting, and consumables

Gather resources across the world, refine them, and craft equipment, tools, food, and potions. Skills, equipment efficiency, materials, tiers, and rarity all shape what you can produce.

A player-only economy

Trade directly with other players or buy and sell through markets and auctions. Crafted and discovered items retain their provenance, and town storage helps characters manage resources where they are needed.

A connected world

Travel between towns, wilderness areas, and dangerous zones on a connected map. Location affects the activities, resources, storage, trades, and encounters available to your character.

Dungeons and combat

Enter dungeons at several difficulty levels, face random encounters while adventuring, challenge other players, or risk ganking in unsafe areas. Equipment, consumables, combat skills, positioning, and party strength affect the outcome.

Parties and social play

Add friends, send direct messages, chat in public and party channels, trade, and form parties. Parties remain together while travelling and can take on dungeons or dangerous encounters as a group.

Player guilds

Create or join a guild with its own identity, flag, ranks, roster, chat, treasury, and shared storage. Guild leaders can manage membership and permissions while members build a long-term community together.

Items with identity

Equip weapons, armor, tools, bags, rings, capes, mounts, food, and potions across multiple tiers and rarities. Items can carry stats, durability, crafted-by or found-by history, and practical uses throughout the game.

Play on desktop or mobile

Aruvia runs in a modern browser and adapts to desktop and mobile screens. Progressive Web App support lets compatible devices install an app-like shortcut, while push notifications can keep you informed.

Planned for the future

These are broad development intentions rather than promises. Their scope, design, and release order may change during alpha and beta testing.

Families

A family system connecting your characters and replacing the current simple gold purchase used to unlock additional character slots.

Buildings

Buildings that add new progression and economic choices to the world instead of existing only as decoration.

Quests

Structured goals that give players more reasons to explore the world, develop their characters, and engage with its systems.

Global events and bosses

World-wide events and large threats that bring many players together around shared challenges and rewards.

Permanent upgrades

Another layer of long-term progression through upgrades that create lasting goals beyond individual items and skill levels.

More varied items

A wider range of equipment, consumables, resources, and special items with distinct purposes throughout the economy and game world.
